I can vouch for RPGMail - works well.

You can check out my open source RPGMail program. It allows you to do an
HTML bodied email (read bold, italics, colors, images, etc), attachments,
unlimited recipients, etc.

You can find it at www.mowyourlawn.com, and I also wrote an article about
it
for IBM Systems Mag in June of this year: http://tinyurl.com/llddb

I would not go the IBM route as then you will most likely be dealing with
MSF (Mail Server Framework) which has at times caused me to want to throw
myself out windows. That is the whole reason I developed RPGMail :-)

Subject: Sending e-mails

Hi all,

I would like to send e-mails from my i5 520 in V5.3. But receiving
messages
is not planned. I found some informations on IBM Webservers and configured
what seemed necessary. But I have still message CPD9025 when I try to use
SNDDST. My command :
SNDDST TYPE(*LMSG) TOINTNET(('mitteljc@xxxxxxx')) DSTD(TITLE) MSG(MESSAGE)
LONGMSG('long message') Is my command wrong ? What is the minimum
configuration to be able to send messages ? Do I need more software ?

Thanks.
