RE: Sending e-mails

I found some interesting stuff and RPGMail must be fine. But we have a

Windows based Mailserver (nobody's perfect) and so I would like to use my i5
only as a client of this mailserver. So I think starting SMTP server on i5
must be enough to send mails. 

Note that if you use RPGMail all you have to do is specify the address and
port of your Windows mail server and you are done - you don't need to setup
anything SMTP on your iSeries. Check out the RPGMail_setSMTPHost and
RPGMail_setSMTPPort apis in the following link to see how to do this:
