I don't think that this is going to happen. I think that what they are planning to do in a future release is to charge for the S/36 and S/38 compilers. Customers still running under the S/36 environment aren't spending money with IBM. If you have a RPG/38 (source type RPG38, you blank out the numbers 38 and you get RPG (400) for free.
