I'll look up the manual you referenced for further study.A quick search found a reference to this SNMP trap being generated after a FTP PPP connection disconnects or goes idle. It was in SQ24-5190 on page 149.
I still don't think I need the SMTP server running for this or anything. I'll run a couple of tests with it stopped.
