Douglas,

Whatever context you chose to use, the implication was g-d as a cussword. If you are going to keep secrets in an email to a group like this, then you should expect we are going to think it means gosh-darn.

I read what I read. You cussed - with hyphens.

cuss words? I re-read my comments and nowhere did I use a cuss word. If you are referring to my usage of the term g-d that is certainly not a cuss word
and the spelling is used purposely from a Jewish perspective, however that
is another discussion for another forum of which this one is not
appropriate. If you want to know why I used it in the context I did, email
me privately and I will be more than happy to explain.

A calendar control requires now many clicks with the mouse? two? Three? and
if you have to change the month or year you can add at least one to two
additional clicks. I can perform the same function with data entry and do
it more efficiently than with a control. As for errors, you can still have
the same issues with someone clicking the wrong day and since our system
pulls its dates and times from the system time we do not have an issue with
them.

We are going to have to agree to disagree here Trevor on the issue of GUI
versus GS, because it is readily apparent you are not going to change and
frankly I do not see a need to recode our entire system just to provide
slicker looking screens. I might add that we have looked at GUI in the past
and just cannot justify it.
