Hi Rhettyou don't say whether this interface has worked before and has only just started playing up or whether it is a new configuration. You also don't indicate what else you have done (as suggested elsewhere).
At the very least you will want to: - check messages on QSYSOPR - check for messages in the job log (WRKJOB) - Check the configuration status of the associated lineIf necessary end the interface, vary the line off and then on again then start the interface again.
Having said all that, I most often see this when the communications parameters on the ethernet line don't match those on the switch.
Check the line description, particularly the LINESPEED and DUPLEX options and make sure they match the configuration on your switch.
