See the "special instructions" in ptf cover letter SI17062. http://www-912.ibm.com/a_dir/as4ptf.nsf/521270d71840f65886256e7700697c8c/76722d914c348cc086256f8d0052ab2c?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,ntp Basically this manual workaround is needed, even if you have the ptf, upgrade os, etc. It still takes manual intervention. Apparently IBM is big on duplicating data all over the system and it get's screwed up one place and then needs to be manually resynced. There's qusrsys/qatocstart - and there's whereever CHGNTPA additionally stores it. Oh, and let's not forget the data area qusrsys/qtotsntpst also. Special Instructions Apply the PTF. Issue CL command CHGNTPA with PF4 for prompting. Write down the value for "Client autostart" (keyword AUTOSTART). The CHGNTPA command needs to detect a change in the "Client autostart" value in order to correctly update the autostart value. If the value for "Client autostart" is *YES, issue the following CL commands: CHGNTPA AUTOSTART(*NO) CHGNTPA AUTOSTART(*YES) If the value for "Client autostart" is *NO, issue the following CL commands: CHGNTPA AUTOSTART(*YES) CHGNTPA AUTOSTART(*NO) Rob Berendt
