Looks like SNDPGMMSG "Where allowed to run is" set to: *IREXX *BREXX *BPGM *IPGM (i.e. inside a program). FTP is interactive interface. Perhaps one of the other messaging commands would work (i.e. SNDMSG or SNDBRKMSG)? If not, I suppose you could write a one line CL with that SNDPGMMSG inside and then CALL it in your ftp script. That should work. Elvis -----Original Message----- Subject: Embedding SNDPGMMSG in an ftp script and I am getting ... 36 > SYSCMD SNDPGMMSG MSGID(CPF9898) MSGF(QCPFMSG) MSGDTA('Getting ftpSF99317.txt') TOPGMQ(*EXT) MSGTYP E(*STATUS) 37 Error occurred while attempting the CL command. 38 Error message ID = CPF0001. 39 Error found on SNDPGMMSG command. Joblog has CPD0031-Command SNDPGMMSG not allowed in this setting. So, what am I looking for here? Rob Berendt
