How do you change a system's serial number? I thought that was an "indelible" part of the hardware.

Or perhaps it is one of those "I could tell ya but I'd have to kill ya" kind of questions.......

   Of course, be sure to define "reasonable" and get it in writing.  If
your business is a 24 x 7 operation or works multiple shifts or etc.,
you want to be able to get that key at, say, 0300 on Sunday.
