I am looking at a logical that has this select in it:

  A          S J8CMNT                    RANGE('INV' 'INV99999')

this comment field contains records such as :

INV # XKC04H112L
INV # XTC04J015L & XTC04J019L
INVOICE  XKC03D015L

How is this select working?
