Sometimes IBM doesn't find a problem until a system has been out there a good long time, or sometimes even until it's on a new release. Then IBM may ptf it back to previous releases. That's where a bulk of the entries occur on a VxRxMx to VyRyMy cross reference comes in useful. Sometimes, though, there will be no ptf in the newer code because it's included in the base o/s; or new version G/A code. Rob Berendt
