It doesn't look good to me.  What release and Cume level are you?  If
you don't have support (and you're already current on PTFs) I'd say your
best option is to slip the LIC.

I do not understand how IBM could have let a bug fixed in V4R2 and again in V4R4 slip into V5R1

My client is on V5R1 - I will need to find out the PTF level but it is supposed to be current.

By "slip" , do you mean reinstall?
If so, how might this fix it? If I have ever done an LIC reinstall by itself, which I doubt, it would have been very many years ago. Any traps for the unwary?
