I did not know this solution. I'll check it out.

I tried AFPTOOL in the past, and it did a good work, but had also some
limitations.
IIRC, it does a AFPDS to TIFF conversion. So in the outputted pdf text
is changed into graphics.
And I want to avoid that for this application.
