I've been questioning the lab about compliance to various specs.  
While they understand the importance of doing this, they do not 
have the volume of requests from customers to get the development 
effort funded.  

Cards & letters, along with supporting legal, DOD, etc. 
requirements will certainly help to build the business case.  I 
don't have a URL handy for the official process to request product 
changes but will offer to forward emails specific to this 
capability to the appropriate team in the development lab.
