How come you didn't do the math to give us the total number? ;) I'm jumping in the middle without reading other threads here but i'll offer one possible way... there used to be an old TAATOOLS provided command called "DLTOLDSPLF". Not sure how old it was, but we used it at a previous job of mine for a similar function. I don't have access to it any more, but you may find some one else on the list that can offer a way for you to use it. Then again, by the time you're finished messing with setting up a solution, you could get a bunch of practice with your arrow keys and the '4' key. The user copied our cycle spool file output which is about 40 to 50 spool file a day. So take 50 X 5 to get your week number, than take that number an multiply it by month and that number by year. Than to sum it all up multiply it by 9 years. This is what we have to get rid of. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Rubino, Jim Sent: Wednesday, September 14, 2005 2:14 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: MOVING SPOOL FILE You can use the MOVSPLF command - this will move all spooled files for a user from a specific outq to another specific outq. We would like to move user John Doe spool files to a Delete out queue. Do any one have a program that will process this for us? We tried the MOVSPLF command but it crashes due to resource error. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. _____________________________________________________________________________ Scanned by IBM Email Security Management Services powered by MessageLabs.
