9 Years!!!! Dude, you're storing your data in the wrong place. Relying on output queues to hold data this is wrong because you're leaving critical stuff hanging in the wind. IBM does not currently save the contents of output queues, data queues, etc. Either come up with some spool archival method, or some other archival method that regenerate a report if needed. A good policy of deleting all spool files that are over x number of days old will also help performance - see DSPJOBTBL. I had one person tell an audience to get IBM's Infoprint server and an IXS card to act as a server and it would pay for itself by improving your system performance by reducing the number of jobs in the job tables.
