Are all of the files you want to delete in an outq? And if so are these
the only spooled files in that outq? If all of the files in an outq are
ones that you want to delete - you can do the CLROUTQ command. You just
have to be sure that no other users spooled file are in that outq you
are going to clear.
We have a couple of utilities here that will clean spool files (CLNSPLF)
and clean outq (CLNOUTQ) for keeping a number of days. These commands
use some calls to some JDEdwards programs for date conversion and
comparison, so if you do not have JDE World software then these commands
will not help you.

Subject: RE: MOVING SPOOL FILE
This would work if the user had a small amount of spool file. The user
copied our cycle spool file output which is about 40 to 50 spool file a
day. So take 50 X 5 to get your week number, than take that number an
multiply it by month and that number by year. Than to sum it all up
multiply it by 9 years. This is what we have to get rid of.

You can use the MOVSPLF command - this will move all spooled files for a
user from a specific outq to another specific outq.
In the example below I am moving just my spooled files from Outq
BLSEMAIL27 to Outq GLDPRT02.

Subject: MOVING SPOOL FILE
Hello All,
We have copies of spool file in two places. We would like to move user
John Doe spool files to a Delete out queue. Do any one have a program
that will process this for us? We tried the MOVSPLF command but it
crashes due to resource error.
