We went from V4R1 to V5R2 and we just saved the application data, programs, user profiles, etc. and restored them onto the new system. We then tested all of our major processes (end of day, end of month, major menu options) to ensure they still worked. We had some issues with SQL programs where V5R2 was not as tolerant as V4R1 of certain coding errors. You need to remember to save your system reply list values and your job scheduler entries if you have any. I'll post more if I remember anything else. Good luck and congratulations on the upgrade. You will love the new coding options available to you. Donald R. We will be getting the new H/W in about a month and I want to be as much prepared for this as possible. <clip>
