Oh, sorry - yes the disk is in the system. At least it was the last time I was there. That's why I was wondering if it was a "stiction" issue as I noted originally ? If you IPL from tape, you should be able load the system on whatever disk is actually installed. DST can show you the serial#s and status of the disks. Keith
