In that case, can I just tell it to use that drive OR stick another one in there (I have some from a 620) ?
Thanks !

You should get a hardware SRC if any harddisk failed.
You might check the serial#s of the disks currently installed in the system. If none match your error, it's possible that the original load source was removed.

Hi Folks,
Guiding some folks through a reload from scratch of a 250 that had been sitting idle for a couple of years. This is the same one I posted on
awhile
back; turns out it was scratched I guess.
So the restore was started via the IPL to tape and their first save tape (from Save 21).
And after awhile a screen is displayed with:
Install Licensed Code - Error
Error:
The load source disk could not be found (see disk information below.)
Missing load source disk:
Serial Number Type Model I/O Bus Controller
33-0C88590 6717 050 0 1
A disk could not be selected to the load source.
You can return to the Dedicated Service Tools display and
run diagnostics to determine why a disk could not be
selected.
Correct the problem and install the Licensed Internal Code
Again.
So is this a "stiction" (sp) problem since it sat for so long ?
Thanks !
