Hi Jim,

The NACK being reported is the generic "Printer Not
Ready" response from an IPDS capable printer. It is
not one of the more specific device NACKS for out of
forms, output bin full, or out of toner.

My suggestion would be to check and see whether any
updated software (sometimes called firmware) has been
released for the operation of the printers themselves.
This sounds like the IPDS Simm/Dimm is being told the
mechanical hardware needs to pause for some reason and
it is alerting the host to stop sending data.
