I can't remember the name of it, but there's a appliance out there that
looks at the outbound HTML and ensures that the inbound responses make
"sense" with regard to the out bound requests. That is, of you send a
form with three text fields with a max len of 50, and a drop down with a
"Red" and "Green" choice, the appliance will stop any requests for the
"purple" color before it hits the web server. Effectively providing some
of the same protections.

Also keep in mind, the abacus on my desk is more secure than 5250, you
have to actually come into my office to use it, but no one is suggesting
that we throw out JDE and use abaci.
