Hello,

I'd love to hear from those who do write for iSeries Network, Scott Klement for instance.

I don't really know anything about it, except that one or two of our editors feel that the "Midrange Alliance" program creates a great deal of synergy between the iSeries and Windows platforms.

And that's it -- that's all I know.

My PERSONAL opinion? The Midrange Alliance is a direct answer to IBM's "roadmap". The difference is that it uses .NET technology instead of Java.

One of the things that I found humorous about the Microsoft web site that Joe points to is under "Case Studies" where a title reads:
"Better User Interface: iSeries Gets a Face Lift for 5,250 Applications"

They put a comma in 5250! Did they think that number was a quantity of applications?!
