IPL Error -- MIDRANGE-L

I am trying to do a manual IPL and I am getting an error message
A6005008.  I did a look up on google and it appears that its complaining
about not finding the console, but when I do a normal IPL it loads with
no problems.
 
Suggestions? Ideas? I need to fix a system password issue and I am down
to about five days, and this is really starting to get irritating.
