It's a network printer and has an LPD server running in it.  The
datastream is a bit odd in that it doesn't really have a 'line printer'
mode.  I want to add such a mode, more or less.

I've had success writing spooled files to it in the past, but they have
to be written especially for the printer.  I now would like more generic
support.
