The major file which is being accessed  was never recreated till Jan2002. But 
however it doesnt contain any deleted records so I didnt do RGZPFM.The cpyf 
command was coded in such a way that it was nt recreated.
 
I just recreated it and copied the same data and ran, it looks to be running 
fast and took less time.
 
Iam not familiar memory theory, I guess the file's location got changed from 
one location to another in memory from where it being accessed , that could be 
reason????????
