Most of these were succinctly pointed out in the Memo to Users. And in
the Planning website. Granted, IBM did a pretty good job of obfuscating
the change regarding CPYFRMIMPF. Although I hit them hard, early on, on
the business impact of this change. I would be cautious using the
"temporary workaround" that was posted. At least, don't use it and forget
to fix your processes. I would see it quite likely that this workaround
will be ignored in the release after V5R3. One thing nice about NOT
skipping a release, is that if you choose not to read, or cannot
understand, the Memo to Users, sometimes there will be a workaround that
might allow you some time to come up with a long term solution before the
next release.

Re: v5r3 problem

Are there any other such problems on 5.3 to be aware of?

We have upgraded to V5R3.
Iam getting a data-mapping error when the CPYFRMIMPF command is run,
despite the fact that parameter RPLNULLVAL(*FLDDFT) is specified.Any
suggestions to make this work out.
