I'm not sure of the exact error you're experiencing, but IBM has released
several PTFs to try and fix the issues with CPYFRMIMPF. Make sure you get
the latest.
In our case, we had an open PMR with them for a couple of months and they
released two PTFs which eventually fixed the issue.

If necessary, you can force it to run at V5R2, by doing the following:
    CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QSYS/QCPFRMIMPF) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(6) VALUE('CPV5R2')
TEXT('CPYFRMIMPF V5R2')

However, I recommend trying to apply all the PTFs first.

Subject: v5r3 problem

Hi all,
We have upgraded to V5R3.
Iam getting a data-mapping error when the CPYFRMIMPF command is run,
despite the fact that parameter RPLNULLVAL(*FLDDFT) is specified.Any
suggestions to make this work out.
