THEE most user observable problem when upgrading OS/400 here has been from people with older versions of iseries access trying to attach to newer os/400. Lots of error messages. That being said, we still had a couple of holdouts who were running an ancient version of DOS with some unique barcoding application that talked to the iSeries. Still see the controller description for it. It's only VARY ON PENDING now, but that might be because we IPLed the i5 this weekend and they might not have rebooted that PC yet. Or it might be because it's no longer in use. Has anyone run these two together? I know it's unsupported, but is it likely to connect?
