" Are you sure there aren't two versions of the command floating around?"

No, there is just one. Let me explain what I am doing:

I have this on the command:

PARM       KWD(TASK) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10) MIN(1) +
             CHOICE('Task Id, *ALL') PROMPT('Task ID +
             or *ALL')
PARM       KWD(SUBTASK) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10) MIN(1) +
             CHOICE('SubTask Id, *ALL') +
             PROMPT('SubTask ID or *ALL')

I call the command and enter the following values:

Task ID or *ALL  . . . . . . . .   am6 sec       Task Id, *ALL
SubTask ID or *ALL . . . . . . .   07            SubTask Id, *ALL

But on the CLLE I have appears as:

    10   START:      PGM        PARM(&TASK &SUBTASK)
    11
    12               DCL        VAR(&TASK) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)
    13               DCL        VAR(&SUBTASK) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)
    14
    15               DLTF       FILE(QTEMP/MAPSECBLD)

Debug . . .

F3=End program   F6=Add/Clear breakpoint   F10=Step   F11=Display
F12=Resume       F17=Watch variable   F18=Work with watch   F24=M
&TASK = 'am6 sec   '

It should be 'AM6 SEC ' instead but is not happening...
