That should work but might be relatively slow, because NetServer can be very stodgy. Another option is to execute EDTF '/' or DSPF '/' - both are the same for this purpose. On the resulting display you can take option 9 to delete a directory and all its contents. If you need to go down a level, use option 2 or 5 on a directory, etc.

Do you need to delete IBM stuff, too? Most product stuff should be removed with DLTLICPGM, so I assume this is for whatever is left over.

Hi all,

because we have to return our old iSeries to IBM we need to cleanup the
IFS
directories. We just use the DEL command with *.*. As every subdirectory
has
to be cleared before it could be deleted it is a boring job to climb down
the directory trees.
Is there any method to delete (remove) directories with their contents by
a
single command?
