That doesn't make sense.  An LCD command isn't sent to the server, and
therefore doesn't get back a message from the server.  The LCD command
only affects the local side of the connection (that's what the L stands
for, "Local")

Sorry, the letters 'STOR' are all invariant characters, and code page
translation problem would not cause this.

Besides which, it's the same PC connecting to the same iSeries, there's no
reason that the code pages would be different because he was at a hotel
vs. being at home.
