I have virtual ethernet connecting two lpars. I have configured ip to
work over the connection and as far as that goes everything is working
fine. I would like to get sna over ip to work also, but can't seem to get
the controllers talking. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is
there any reason it shouldn't work?

When I configure the appc controller and attempt to vary it on, i get a
   message cap5714 stating:
-- Controller xxxxxx runs over a protocol other than TCP/IP, and each of
the line descriptions found in the switched line list (SWTLINLST)
specifies a hardware resource (RSRCNAME parmeter) that only supports

   TCP/IP.

   Thanks,

   Don Y
