Jeff,

I use the MINENTDTA option on our journals without any problems with our
HA solution (not DataMirror). However, this will only help noticeably if
your applications perform numerous updates. Using the MINENTDTA option
reduced the bandwidth needed for sending transactions to our target
systems over the WAN. I would check with DataMirror before making any
changes just to be safe.

subject: Journal Question

Has anyone used the MINENTDTA option on their journals? We are wondering
if it creates any problems (especially with applications that read
journals, like DataMirror) and if the space savings are worth any problems
it might cause. Thanks!
