I also had this problem quite a while ago but it hasn't been an issue for me
in recent memory.  I even remember sending an e-mail to Mochasoft.

I always check the "Send Keep-Alive Data every 15 seconds" box on the
advanced connection options in Mochasoft. I am using DSL to connect to the
iSeries and it currently isn't a problem.  Don't know for sure if the keep
alive setting in Mochasoft fixed it or the problem just went away on its
own.

The "overworked router" being one of the DSL's routers, I assume...there's
not a problem on the iSeries side; I would have been one of the first
victims.

There are still telco folks out there thinking a 2-pound ball-peen enforcer
upside the demarc solves data problems.
