There are other differences. You can't normally access the contents of a
*USRSPC from a command line, but you can a *DTAARA. On the other hand,
since you don't have any system-provided command-line or HLL front-end
on a *USRSPC, it may be somewhat easier to put whatever you please into
one than a *DTAARA.

Of course, either one is considerably easier to deal with than a
program's associated space.
