I wish people would stop using these ancient > releases of OS/400, it makes my life (answering questions in forums, > writing newsletters) much more difficult. Why? Why does everything have to be the "latest and greatest"? At Touchtone, we don't have a single product requiring anything beyond V4R2, and QuestView, our flagship product, will run quite happily on anything from a V2R3 machine (albeit with slower response times, and with some of the advanced features quietly disappearing) to V5Rwhatever, and will make use of a number of post-V2R3 OS features if it finds them. Like another list member just said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. -- JHHL
