Honestly, I would have assumed that at least some of the Oki laser printers
would have support for PJL.....  Bummer.....

Did you notice that your phrasing did the same thing?  Your post could lead
one to believe that all you need is a JetDirect to support PJL or SNMP.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone knew what we were thinking instead of just
what we write?   <grin>

BTW: after my last I got to thinking that it was possible that the JetDirect
supports IPP, which would mean that using the *IBMIPPDRV would be an option.
But according to HP's web site neither external 170 supports IPP.
