Jeff,

With a JetDirect, you'll only be able to access the printer via a RMTOUTQ.

With a Lexmark Marknet print server, you'll be able to have a local device
connected via *LEXLINK

With a IPP capable print server, you can have a LAN device using the
*IBMIPPDRV driver.
