If its really a card, it's not going to work.  AFAIK, HP Jetdirect cards
work only in HP printers.

My recommendation....

Pick yourself up a $65 Internet Print Protocol print server

And set it up using the SYSDRVPGM(*IBMIPPDRV)

You could try using the SNMP driver, but as I understand it SNMP needs some
support at the printer level along with the network adapter.  IPP on the
other hand doesn't need anything at the printer.

Let us know how it works!  I've been considering this for RMTOUTQ attached
label printers. ;-)
