and why are you not wanting the Telxon 24 f-key? It seems like the search criteria given to the other person should have included the minimum specs needed to function with you application. If not , then you have to add the reprogramming, retraining, redocumentation, resupply (if you maintain your own parts depot), to the cost of the solution. and anyone whose says "they are all the same" should be fired, for they know not what they are doing...and will be a detriment to the success of any project involving hardware. And don't expect the access points to always be a one for one replacement, and you may need rewiring to new access points.
