Can we assume that the trial version did not find any viruses in QIBM? Regards, Scott Ingvaldson AS/400 System Administrator GuideOne Insurance Group -----Original Message----- date: Fri, 30 Jan 2004 07:24:32 -0500 from: "Jeff Crosby" <jlcrosby@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> subject: StandGuard I got a 15-day trial of StandGuard (virus scanning for IFS) from Byteware yesterday. So far I like what I see. Job schedule entries update virus defs and do an IFS scan. The trial will only scan QIBM and it's subdirectories, however. It also has an SMTP component that, if you are using the iSeries messaging facility, will check all incoming mail for viruses and forward them to whatever email address you say. I set it to forward them all to me. Overnight we got that new virus 30 times. Is anyone out there currently using this? How is it over time? -- Jeff Crosby Dilgard Frozen Foods, Inc. P.O.
