We use Showcase.  It does a lot of what you can do in AS/400 queries and a
lot that you can't.  It enforces AS/400 security and has the option for
some of it's own to restrict library, file, field, and record access.
Showcase queries can be used to populate Excel spreadsheets.  Overall, it's
a pretty easy and flexible way to get data into spreadsheets.

I am looking for a tool to extract data from different files on the 400
and display the data results in a spreadsheat like tool which has the
capability to do further analysis (sort, summarize, count, average, etc.)
