If you have Client Access you should be able to use that to pull data from AS400 files right in to an Excel spreadsheet. Newer versions of Client Access, aka iSeries Navigator/Access, have plugins right in to the office suite that put buttons right on your toolbar in Excel. A more crude, but still effective solution would be to FTP the files from the AS400 and open them in Excel. You would probably need to define the column breaks in Excel when you open it, but that is not an overly complicated task, if you know the data. HTH, Brian ________________________________ Brian J.
