Perhaps the  DDS keyval SFLROLVAL may be helpfull. With this you can specify 
the numberof SFL records to scroll. Syntax should be:

      A                 @ROL                      2S     0B         2     
12SFLROLVAL

Of course positioning and/or postioning on the screen for the user to change 
the roll value is optional to you.
