Chuck, Last I knew Keane was running IBM's support in Rochester in some white buildings between the Country Inn & Suites and the IBM Manufacturing building. Been a few years since I've walked in and talked to the support people. And then it was only to drop off a PC to duplicate a problem because I happened to be visiting IBM for other reasons. Check THIS out (got this from a friend just now that is a former IBM'er and now at a local company ! "Around 7:30 this morning my boss came over and was telling me they couldn't get hold of IBM support. They were even calling IBM locals reps trying to get help. I asked my boss why they couldn't get hold of IBM Support and he told me when you dial IBM 1800# that it would ring 2 times then you get a dial tone LOL. Will about 8am this morning they finally got hold of IBM Support and was told that their building was on FIRE!! and that all communications to the support line was off. Sounds like IBM has a good D/R solution LMAO. So we are still down with no support from IBM. I would like to find out where this building was that's on fire. I was told that most of support was moved to a different country. If so maybe they might move it back here to the United States."
