When you did it, did you do it the way you wrote or did QNTC have a / in front of it? It should be /QNTC/ServerName I would also try the IP address. It is possible for the iSeries to find the PC on its own, but it requires a WINS server to be configured on your network. You'll need to let the iSeries know where your WINS server is at. I believe this is done via the WINS address for the iSeries Netserver.
