Yes, you can do it with the MKDIR command:
MKDIR DIR('/QNTC/SystemName')
or
MKDIR DIR('/QNTC/192.168.2.1')
The only caveat is that you have to re-run this command after each IPL.
The other thing you could do, at least in theory, is configure your
routers so that NetBIOS broadcast messages are forwarded across subnets. I
believe this is what blocks the list to the same subnet as the SMB
protocol is not able to advertise the systems across subnets. I am way
over my head with this part though.

QNTC
Is there any way to get QNTC to see NT machines on another subnet of our
network? Currently it is only listing the machines within the subnet that
the iSeries resides. V5R2.
