I'm pretty sure that as long as the time you want is less than 24 hours ahead you can put it there. If you wait until 5:01PM you should be able to set it to start at 5:00PM the next day. So, no, you can't schedule it in batch, WRKJOBSCDE, etc. What you can do is what we do, sign on to the system console with a special user profile. This profile does all the actions necessary to bring the system into a restricted state, save, ipl and some post ipl tasks. Putting a DLYJOB in there should be a no brainer. GO SAVE position cursor on option 21, press F1 for help: ...
