Nope -  cannot LPAR a 720 (at least, according to
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/lpar/chart.htm).

I also would question the wisdom of LPARing an 820 because of this =>

If this gets munged up, it's a 7/29/03 announcement letter withdrawing 820s
from marketing as of 11/21/03.  I would guess that support for 820s will go
away within 18 months from that date.
